US Foods, a leader in the foodservice distribution industry, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be integral in fostering relationships with existing customers and developing new partnerships within the food and beverage sector. With a catalog of over 350,000 products, including exclusive private label brands, you will leverage US Foods' extensive offerings to meet the diverse needs of approximately 300,000 restaurants and foodservice operators across the country. This position requires a strategic approach to sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the foodservice market to effectively drive revenue and growth within your designated territory. Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitors' status. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Collaborate with the marketing team to understand and promote company products effectively to target markets. Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads and maintain a strong network in the foodservice industry. Proven sales experience in the foodservice or related industry. Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software. Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
