Diego, CA On-site | Full-Time About the Opportunity Our client, a
rapidly scaling AI advisory and implementation firm, is seeking a
Director of Growth & Brand to build and lead its marketing function
from the ground up. This is a highly strategic and visible
leadership role reporting closely to the executive team. The right
candidate will shape how the market understands practical AI
implementation, elevate the firms national reputation, and drive
measurable pipeline growth through a sophisticated, premium brand
presence. The organization serves mid-market and enterprise
operators seeking real-world AI integration—not experimentation—and
is positioning itself as a trusted partner in that transformation.
What You'll Be Responsible ForBrand Strategy & Market Positioning
Define and evolve the company's brand as a premium,
results-oriented AI advisory partner. Develop clear messaging
frameworks tailored to distinct buyer audiences and industries.
Ensure consistent positioning across all channels and client touch
points. Thought Leadership & Content Ecosystem Own and execute a
comprehensive content strategy across LinkedIn, newsletters, video,
long-form insights, and executive commentary. Translate internal
frameworks, case studies, and leadership insights into compelling
external narratives. Position senior leadership as authoritative
voices in AI-driven transformation. Manage creative collaborators
including designers, editors, and video partners. Public Relations
& External Visibility Develop and manage media strategy, including
earned placements and speaking opportunities. Build relationships
that increase visibility among executive and investor audiences.
Demand Generation & Inbound Pipeline Architect full-funnel
marketing systems that convert awareness into qualified
opportunities. Create high-value lead assets such as executive
guides, frameworks, and playbooks. Oversee email campaigns, nurture
sequences, and SEO strategy. Track and optimize inbound
contribution to revenue pipeline. Events & Executive Experiences
Lead strategy and execution for webinars, executive roundtables,
and curated industry events. Oversee promotion, creative direction,
and post-event ROI analysis. Ensure events produce tangible
business impact, not just attendance metrics. Community Brand
Leadership Drive sponsorship engagement and partner relationships.
Oversee marketing and growth strategy for the firms affiliated
executive AI community. Expand community visibility and value to
members while supporting overall brand authority. Website & Digital
Presence Maintain landing pages, case studies, and lead capture
systems. Continuously improve digital performance metrics. Own
strategy, messaging, UX, and conversion optimization across digital
properties. Sales Enablement & GTM Assets Develop and refine all
client-facing collateral including capability decks, industry
briefs, case studies, and service overviews. Partner closely with
sales and strategy teams to ensure alignment between messaging and
revenue goals. Executive Brand Development Lead ghostwritten
thought leadership and content frameworks. Convert executive
insights into scalable top-of-funnel influence. Support senior
leadership in developing individual executive visibility. Marketing
Analytics & Performance Own reporting across lead flow, funnel
metrics, campaign performance, engagement analytics, and pipeline
contribution. Build dashboards and leverage data to refine strategy
and drive continuous improvement. Ideal Background 7 years of
experience in B2B marketing, growth strategy, or brand leadership
(professional services, consulting, or high-growth technology
environments preferred). Demonstrated ability to elevate or scale a
brand to a leadership position within its market. Strong strategic
orientation combined with hands-on execution capability.
Exceptional written communication skills suited for executive and
operator audiences. Experience with modern marketing platforms
(e.g., CRM automation tools, CMS platforms, LinkedIn Ads, analytics
tools, SEO software). Proven ability to manage external agencies,
contractors, and creative partners. Comfortable operating in
fast-moving, high-growth environments with evolving priorities.
Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and content tools is
strongly preferred. Compensation Base salary range: $80,000 –
$115,000 annually, doe.
