Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: PRIMARY THERAPIST/ADDICTION
SPECIALIST BLUE TIGER RECOVERY, INC
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Masters Degree; California
registered associate or licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD. or Ph.D.).
Two years clinical experience with chemical dependency or process
addiction population and 12-step model or dual-diagnosed
Reports To: Clinical Director and Program Director Degree of
Supervision: Weekly and as needed Supervises: Appropriately
Assigned Intern Staff (If BBS approved as Supervisor) Basic
Function: Responsible for the assessments and execution of
treatment plans for all assigned clients that includes individual,
group, couples and Boot Camp clients.
CLINICAL DUTIES: 1. Attends weekly or bi-weekly clinical team
meetings 2. Provides case management to a maximum of 6 clients at
any given time and provides family therapy as needed. 3. Completes
Clinical assessment and treatment plan for assigned clients. 4.
Facilitates comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic summary for
assigned clients. 5. Provides clinical support, as needed, to
admission team for the timely completion of the initial clinical
evaluations of new admissions and insurance pre-certifications when
needed. 6. Facilitates multi-disciplinary treatment planning and
updates for assigned clients (ensures inclusion of all treatment
modalities/ disciplines) 7. Individual sessions for all assigned
clients (at least weekly) 8. Group counseling, education, and
meetings per program schedule. 9. Family/conjoint therapy as
specified in individual clients treatment plans. 10.
Enthusiastically and expertly present assigned lectures during Boot
Camp. 11. Coordinates treatment objectives for assigned clients
with BTR Clinical Staff. 12. Coordination of all treatment services
needed for assigned client case load. 13. Intervenes and assists
with clients as needed (crisis intervention, ATA risk, special
needs, etc.) 14. Supports aftercare program by meeting with alumni
on an as-needed basis (when approved by Clinical Director) 15.
Contacts all family members weekly and referral sources during BTR
Boot Camp Program. 16. Makes appropriate referrals for therapist
and psychiatrist for caseload; following office referral protocol
with an expectation of referring 75% of caseload. 17. Makes
appropriate referrals to continuing levels of care within our
system as well as to other treatment centers; following office
referral protocol with an expectation of referring 60% of caseload.
18. Ensures that client aftercare plans include all necessary
referrals and recommendations according to protocols.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES: 19. Participates in Quality Improvement
task groups (as assigned) 20. Interface with assigned clients
insurance, managed care companies, EAPs for treatment planning and
concurrent review 21. Facilitates ancillary services/community
referrals for assigned clients 22. Participates in in-service
training and individual/group supervision meetings. 23.
Communicates with BTR staff via communication book and client's
record to maximize utilization of milieu in supporting the client's
treatment plan 24. Ensures client records for assigned case load
are comprehensive, complete, neat and meet licensing standards. 25.
Participates in alumni and referral source events pertinent to the
MARKETING DUTIES: 26. Actively participate in marketing efforts
coordinated by MARKETING TEAM including but not limited to tours,
CNE / CEU participation, public speaking, face-to-face referral
meetings, network luncheons, conferences, etc. 27. Accompanies
marketers on appropriate marketing opportunities
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Full Time or Part Time: Minimum hours 15
hours a week. Hourly rate dependent on experience ($25-$50 an
