Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatric MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Details: Job Title - MRI Tech - Peds Unit - Peds Duration -13 Weeks Shift -Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Location - San Diego, CA 92123 Position Summary: The Pediatric MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for infants, children, and adolescents in a safe, compassionate, and family-centered environment. This role requires specialized knowledge of pediatric anatomy and pathology, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to work closely with radiologists, nurses, anesthesiologists, and child life specialists to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient comfort. Job Duties: - Perform high-quality MRI examinations on infants, children, and adolescents according to physician orders and established protocols. - Accurately position pediatric patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety. - Screen patients and families thoroughly for MRI safety, including implants, devices, and contraindications.
