  • 2 years experience at a dedicated Peds facility
  • Recent ICU experience is a must
  • Peds experience in a Children's Hospital
  • Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning and oxygen. No specialty or blood gases needed
    
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • AHA--NRP - Must be Advanced; Essential no longer accepted. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand prior to start date
  • RRT national credential required; RRT-NPS preferred
    - DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE IN A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. Will automatically be redirected. No exceptions - will be removed from consideration if no peds exp on profile.- RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE A MUST- **Current CA license as Respiratory Care Practitioner required**Requirements:--- California RCP License in hand--- RRT national credential required; RRT-NPS preferred--- 2 years experience at a dedicated Peds facility--- Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning and oxygen. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand prior to start date.Schedule Information:--- 3x12 Nights (7pm-7:30am)--- Weekend shifts per contract: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeksPatient Population:Pediatric care from acute care on the floors, pulmonary floor (treating pts with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystic fibrosis, tracheostomy-ventilated support), trauma, Medical (treating pts with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia), PICU (treating mostly intubated pts and therapies including specialty gases heliox/iNO), NICU and CTICU where heart transplants are performed. High acuity Level 4 NICU.
