Job Description:
Job Description Summary Oversee all commercial plumbing and gas
line projects, repairs and preventative maintenance for entire
campus. Write Scope of Work ( SOW ) details for bidding purposes on
projects too large for the one in-house employ to complete. Oversee
contractor and sign off on payments and completion documents.
Determine long term plumbing maintenance needs for ULV . Provide
reports and recommendations to the supervisor and Director of
Facilities Management. Minimum Qualifications Basic Plumbing
skills. Knowledge and ability to operate a gas fume sniffer. Must
have seven years’ experience in plumbing repair or construction.
Preferred Qualifications Journeyman level plumbing skills. Possess
a degree in a construction or management field e.g. Maintenance
Administration, Construction Management, Construction Project
Management, or related field of maintenance or construction. Or
eight years of related work in place of a degree.
